The type of personal information we collect
Due to the nature of our business, we collect and process only very limited personal information. We currently collect and process the following information:
- Name, email address/address, phone number and land ownership details of clients, prospective clients
How we get the personal information and why we have it
Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by the individual for one of the following reasons:
- To allow us to respond to contacts made via our website
- To allow us to respond to general enquiries or to discuss our services/development opportunities
- To allow us to enter into and perform contracts (e.g. promotion agreements) with our clients
We also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources:
- From the agents (e.g. land agents) or other representatives of prospective clients
- From publicly available sources
We use this information to make enquiries with landowners and to discuss our services and potential development opportunities with prospective clients.
We may share this information with our professional advisors/consultants to the limited extent necessary to perform the activities referenced above.
Lawful bases
The lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:
(1) We have a legitimate interest; and
(2) We have a contractual obligation (as applicable/where a relevant contract is in place).
In relying on legitimate interests we have carried out a Legitimate Interests Assessment. We only process very limited personal data as set out above and use that data for the limited purposes identified above. The data involved is not sensitive personal data, our use is limited, proportionate, unintrusive and would be reasonably expected. We have strong commercial interests in such processing which is essential to our business operation. As such we have a legitimate commercial interest in such processing.
How we store your personal information
Your information is securely stored on our servers/electronic systems. Hard copies of personal data contained in any contracts may be held in our files.
We will dispose of your information within 6 years of the end of our relationship with you or our dealings with you (as applicable) or sooner if we assess it is no longer reasonably required. Your information will be held securely until it is disposed of. Data held electronically will be deleted and any hard copy data will be securely destroyed.
In certain circumstances we may need to keep information for longer, for example if we have a legal requirement to do so or if required by our insurers. In such circumstances we will only keep such information for as long as necessary and will only use it for the purpose for which it has been retained.

Your right to rectification – You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

Your right to restriction of processing – You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
Your right to object to processing – You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
Your right to data portability – You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances. Given the limited nature of information held, this is highly unlikely to be relevant to our relationship.
You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
